Home Care/Maintenance
Providing award-winning service and experiences start with your home being kept in spectacular condition throughout the year. Our homes are cleaned and maintained by staff that is trained to Forbes standards by an on-staff professional whose only job is to profess attention to detail and superior service standards. Every single staff member is hand selected from an elite group of hospitality professionals and must adhere to an extensive list of employment criteria, ensuring that our staff can be trusted in your home. When we service your home, staff must be in uniform and adhere to strict policies so that we never interfere with the ambiance of the community or guest experience.

Resort Experience
Even though it may seem more convenient to have guests drive directly to the rental home to check-in, we feel it is a critical part of the resort vacation experience to check-in with our staff prior to arriving at your vacation home. This allows us to have face time with guests before they are granted access to your home and ensure that they meet the age and occupancy criteria that are required while also assisting them with any concierge needs that they may have for their vacation.

Most owners will qualify for a Resort Membership in St. Joe Club & Resorts. Owner’s guests will also benefit from the many amenities and resources that St. Joe Club & Resorts provides. The Resort-Level membership is valid as long as our rental management relationship is active. This affords our rental homeowners access and discounts to the exclusive amenities outlined below while you are a registered guest of the resort.

What is the management fee and what does it cover?
A: The management fee is a 70/30 split. St. Joe’s 30% includes the booking of your home, marketing, website presence, accounting, guest services resort amenities, assigned rental coordinator and inspector, security checks, and personal assistance with all home matters.

Does St. Joe Club & Resorts currently utilize VRBO?
A: Yes, we work with multiple, industry-leading deal and inventory distribution websites to maximize the marketing exposure of your vacation rental home.

How are you able to get higher rental rates than the competition?
A: Direct marketing and campaigns targeted to a proven database combined with the resorts’ amenities and luxury service yield higher rates. We find that the affluent traveler is looking for a luxury resort experience while enjoying the comforts of a home; and, we are the only company that can provide both.

What expenses can I expect when I sign up?
A: Any initial startup cost will be split 70/30 with St. Joe Club & Resorts paying 30%. Each home is different based on the current inventory in your home. We can gladly have a rental coordinator meet you at your home to review and set up any initial expenses.

When and how do I get paid?
A: We offer direct deposit which is paid on the 20th of each month.

Do you have a homeowner-only access website?
A: Yes, we do. Our website allows our owners to view their rental statements and availability calendar as well as make owner reservations and view important news.

How quickly do you fix the maintenance issues in my home?
A: We have an onsite maintenance team that responds immediately. If it is something major, we work with a specialist from our select vendor list. We will coordinate any work with the specialist and approve with the owner.

Whom do I call when I have an issue and what is the response time?
A: The front office is staffed 24-hours a day and can immediately help you or put you in touch with the proper team member.

What are the housekeeping fees and who pays them?
A: The guests pay the housekeeping fees which vary according to the number of bedrooms. Owners are offered a cleaning fee at a discounted rate.

Do you pay my sales taxes? How does that work?
A: The sales tax and bed tax for your home rental are charged to the guest and collected during their stay. The resort then pays the taxes to the state and county.

How are financials reported?
A: We offer a monthly financial statement for you to review.

If I choose not to use St. Joe Club & Resorts as my management company, can I still buy a membership?A: Yes, you can. We will put you in touch with a membership coordinator to review your membership options.

If I choose a membership, can I pass the access and discount onto my rental guests?
A: If you choose not to utilize St. Joe Club & Resorts as your rental management company, and instead you purchase a club membership — those benefits are for you — with some limited unaccompanied guest privileges. However, at no time, can membership benefits be utilized for non-St. Joe Club vacation home rental guests.

I am not a golfer. What is the benefit of St. Joe Club & Resorts?
A: St. Joe Club & Resorts was built on the vision of bringing the holistic resort experience to luxury vacation rentals.
